it seems like all those detractors of beauty pagents were wrong, Miss America is really an intelligent woman after all or is it? Kansas Senator Brownback has asked a former Miss America from Hawaii to serve in his Presendential exploratory committee..
at first i was happy to know that i was wrong about these ladies..i mean it is good to know that the number of intelligent women is rising in this country. but closer look and there were some gaps..
for example the beauty doen't have experience in politics or public policy. she is school teacher who strongly opposes abortion and as a Catholic feels honoured to work with the Republican Senator..o dear god!
so she thinks that opposing abortion rights is an honourable cause. i wonder what she thinks about women's right to vote or our right to take birth control pills? considering the fact that she agrees with the male dictated views( Catholic Church is lead by man, Gospel of Christ was written by men.) on women's right to reproductive health and decision making
so much for intelligent women
