yes sounds weired but there is a man with considerable following, who says that liberal jews are feeding into the rise in antisemitism.
that man is Alvin H. Rosenfeld, English professor and the director of the Institute for Jewish Culture and the Arts at Indiana University in Bloomington. he, in an essay, said that liberal jews who criticize Israel are feeding into the rise in anti-semitism and anti-Israel sentiments.
hmm wow..i have nothing to say to him. i mean how can i reason with this learned professor, my humble MBA is nothing before his academic credits. but there is something about his lack of "democratic" sentiments. i guess he is in line to join the israeli government soon.

Actual meaning of statement
A true patriot will do what I say a true patriot should do.
You are correct this concept is wrong from ever angle regardless of the number of letter after a persons name. It falls appart.
