Is it..? Is Uzbekistan the next Afghanistan..? I am forced to ask this question after observing some serious trends in the country.
In my news report for OhMyNews.com, I have explained my observations. The country's repressive regime is forcing to radical Islam. The people who are denied freedom of expression, civil rights see Islam as the only way out. And the Saudi Wahhabi, flush with cash, are using this desperation to bring people to the radical version of Islam.
Radical Organizations like the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) have managed to get a large following, especially among the youth. And add to this the troubled neighbor, Afghanistan; you have a ticking time bomb.
