on monday 22 january we had a forum on iraq war here at purdue. it was good, filled with lively discussions. there i came across a booklet by "historians against war".
it had the infamous picture of an iraq prisoner being tortured by American soldiers. inside, details of how torture has been normalized in American prison and abu ghraib scandal. it was scary to say the least.
these people have done a good job of putting this issue on spotlight and also put an effort on educating the public about torture.
