Hezbollah's leader Nasarallah's speech today in Beruit claiming victory over Israel is a sign. Sign of days to come where Israel will be dueling with this group, strengthened by the recent conflict.
So what about peace between Israel and Lebanon..? Well it is like wishing for snow in summer, not impossible but doesn't happen often. Strong Hezbollah means Leabnon's government will not be able to contain the group and its actions. If tomorrow they go into Israel and do something criminal, Lebanon's government will not be able to get to the culprit. If this escaltes to an all out conflict like in August of this year, it is Hezbollah Vs. Israel. Bad for Lebanon and bad for Israel.
Iran, Hezbollah;s god father, has no intention of having a peaceful relationship with Israel. This is what guides Hezbollah. Israel, with US as godfather is determined to be a brat who gets everything he wants. Before these brats make peace it is the godfathers who have make peace.
With the current Iranian president who declares Israel should be wipped off the map, making peace with US and Israel is not going to come easy.
So is there any hope for peace..?
