Declassifying a LEAKED report: Bush fights back
September 26th 2006 17:11
Ok so now President Bush is declassifying a LEAKED intelligence report which says that Iraq war has increased the terrorist risks for the US. Why? In my understanding he is trying to stop the wave of disagreement on Iraq war.
Will it help? No. Because the people don't have to rely on some Intelligence report to know that war in Iraq in increasing risks for the US. It is common sense. You go an attack a nation and expect to be secure, NO A CHANCE!!. So declassifying the report will not help turn the tide. Sorry
Mid term elections are knocking at the door, so this step is significant (don't worry about making sense). This administrating is trying every thing to insure people that they are the best thing that happened to US after McDonalds!! They are trying to get the votes in November by telling people that Iraq war is justified and is helping on what on terror. Whatever.
But are the people listening? No. The polls show that large section of the population is against Iraq war, they feel that the war is adding to insecurity and hatred against America. One can only wish the government would listen to the people.
