can a blog make u famous..? i mean u start as a nobody, u are not a "world renowned" scholar on some topic or subject..just a regular person..can ur blog make u famous..?
i think it can happen but then there are conditions,
#you need a famous person to back u..so that the fame rubs off or
# have a famous person write in ur blog (like huffingtonpost.com) to get that attention from people or
# you need to write about controversial issues ot something that makes people angry (read:racist, biased stuff)
if you are not following any of the above then what are the odds..? can a common man strike big?
i will give u answer but then u will have to wait..first let me get famous. if yes, then u can follow my example if not then..who cares!!

You need to also define what is meant by famous. I think if you have a lot of repeat visitors everyday (say 50) and more than 50 people have subscribed to your blog and wait for the mails from admin@orble.com to come to them informing that there is a new post on your blog and they click it.. then you are famous.
Also when you effect their life in a positive way and they appreciate you for that then you are famous.
