ah! free and fair journalism from NY Times
January 7th 2007 19:44
sunday is the day i read NY Times. not that the news on other days don't interest me, sunday i get enough time to read in between the line.
so there is a news about Teddy Kolleck, former mayor of Jeruslam, who died at age of 95 on Jan 2.read what NY Time has to say, "Teddy Kollek, who as mayor of Jerusalem for nearly three decades did more to build and develop the city as Israel’s capital than any other figure while promoting coexistence with a sometimes hostile Arab population, died Tuesday in Jerusalem".
hmm hostile Arabs ha, wow i wonder what about the Jews who took away their land and made them refugees in their own country. i guess NY Times is too proper to call them "hostile". whatever!!
anyway, i won't ruin the day for Mr. Kolleck. he was a man who did a lot for the Arab residents fo Jeruslam and work for unity, although he didn't like them that much.
i wish him peace.

Frank Thoughts
This is very typical of most US media these days. Their anti arab/muslim sentiments seem to arise in a very subconscious manner.
